יָשֻׁבִי לֶחֶם

Yâshubîy Lechem. from שׁוּב and לֶחֶם; returner of bread; Jashubi-Lechem, an Israelite; Jashubi-lehem. (Prob. the text should be pointed יֹשְׁבֵי לֶחֶם and rendered '(they were) inhabitants of Lechem,' i.e. of Bethlehem (by contraction). Compare לַחְמִי).
