korbân. of Hebrew and Chaldee origin respectively (קׇרְבָּן); a votive offering and the offering; a consecrated present (to the Temple fund); by extension (the latter term) the Treasury itself, i.e. the room where the contribution boxes stood:--Corban, treasury.
